Free and Reduced Lunch application 2008-2009

Every night, hundreds of children in Broward County go to bed hungry - and those numbers are increasing as the cost of food continues to rise. Broward County Public Schools can help, with free or reduced price meals offered for qualifying students. It takes a parent or guardian just a few moments to complete an application for meal benefits to see if their child is eligible. Free or reduced price meals applications are available at all Broward County Public Schools and will also be sent home following the first day of school.  Individuals may get an early application by calling 754-321-0250.  The information that a parent/guardian lists on an application is completely confidential and will only be used to determine a child's eligibility for free or reduced price meals. We are urging parents/guardians to complete an application early so their children can enjoy a healthy breakfast and lunch each day - a key part of the successful learning experience at Broward County Public Schools.
